FileTrek Announces VP of Engineering, Karl Galbraith

Ottawa, ON, June 19, 2012 — FileTrek, a solution provider of robust tracking and secure file sharing solutions, announced today the hiring of Karl Galbraith as Vice President of Engineering. With over 25 years of experience successfully delivering commercial and in-house software products to Fortune 500 and start up environments, Galbraith will be responsible for the development, planning, execution, and operation of all FileTrek solutions.

Prior to joining FileTrek, Karl spent five years with the Canadian Bank Note Corporation, where he oversaw Corporate Information Systems technology and new product development. He also leveraged his corporate experience into co-founder, executive and technical leadership roles at local Ottawa startups including Electronic Courthouse, Accentus (acquired by High Road Capital Partners), and Gridiron Software (now Filetrek), specializing in Enterprise and Web-based technology with a focus on Secure Track and Trace solutions. Karl holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario.
