About Mark: As the Chief Executive Officer of Interset, Mark comes with 20-plus years of experience in helping venture and private equity-backed startups fulfill their strategic visions. With a unique background in behavioral and IT analytics, he has a proven ability to scale technology companies—with a particular emphasis on strategy, corporate development, and financial oversight. This strongly positions Mark to lead Interset during this rapid growth phase for the company. Mark was an investor, CFO, and COO of Integrien, a pioneer in real-time predictive IT and behavioral analytics, through its acquisition by VMware for more than $100M. Integrien’s visionary technology now forms the base of VMware’s cloud-management platform. Mark was also COO of Central Desktop, the leading SaaS-based collaboration platform for marketers. There, he was a key contributor to the development and execution of the company’s strategy through its acquisition by PGi. Prior to VMware and Central Desktop, Mark helped position and scale many venture/private equity-backed technology companies to successful exits as CFO, COO, and adviser. Mark is also an active angel investor, adviser and board member to early stage technology companies.

Education: Mark received a BS and an MBA in Finance from Loyola University Maryland, and a Masters in RE Structured Finance from NYU.

About Stephan: Designing software (from inception to release) for more than 15 years, Stephan is the veteran mind behind Interset’s technological vision. Stephan has been a technologist and leader at two startups and at one of the largest software development companies in the world. He was previously a technical architect, research staff member, and senior manager at IBM Cognos Analytics. During his career at IBM Cognos, he architected and oversaw more than ten 1.0 products related to cloud-computing, mobile, visualization, semantic search, data-mining, and neural networks.

Education: Stephan holds a Master of Science in Computational Neuroscience and Biomedical Engineering, and a dual BS in Computer Science and Human Physiology from the University of Toronto.

Ross Sader

About Ross: With more than 15 years of experience in technology, Ross oversees daily operations and customer experience. Before his role at Interset, he was a media-and-enterprise executive at Accenture, where he developed corporate strategies and led large-scale implementations of content management, digital-supply chain, and intellectual-property-rights management solutions for companies such as CBS, Sony, Warner Bros, and Fox Interactive Media. Prior to that, Ross was co-founder and VP of Client Engagement at RampRate, a data-driven sourcing advisor, where he was instrumental in the rapid adoption of the company’s proprietary ratings index by major corporations.

Education: Ross received a BS in Business Administration from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.

About Mark: Mark comes with more than two decades of experience launching and building technology startups. Before joining Interset, Mark was VP of Worldwide Sales & Business Development at Apcera (acquired by Ericsson during his tenure), a container-management platform provider. Mark has also been VP of Strategic Accounts at business-management pioneers Apptio and Endeca (the data-management company acquired by Oracle for $1.1B). Previously, Mark spent eight years at TIBCO Software, at which time the company grew from approximately $20 million to more than $400 million, and went public. It was recently acquired by Vista Equity for $4.3 billion. Mark started his career in technology, working in sales at Oracle.

Education: Mark holds a Bachelor’s of Science from Cornell University.

Rob Sader

About Rob: Rob joins Interset with 15 years of experience helping small technology and software start-ups grow customer acquisition. Most recently, Rob was a Cyber Security and Dataflow Evangelist at Hortonworks, the market leader in big-data technology. In one year, he helped grow the Hortonworks Emerging Products business from $0 to more than $10M. Rob joined Hortonworks through its acquisition of Onyara, which he co-founded in 2015 and served as Chief Revenue Officer. Leveraging lean start-up principles, Rob helped build and sell Onyara for $42M after six months in business on a $1.1M capital raise. Earlier in his career, Rob worked as a product specialist in the high-growth service cloud business at Salesforce.com, where he drove just over $50M in new business over two years. He also has extensive experience helping drive enterprise-class sales for multiple small software start-ups such as Virtuoz (sold to Nuance) and Jacada.

Education: Rob has a Bachelors of Arts in Biology from Macalester College and studied BioInformatics at Chalmers University in Sweden.

About Mario: Mario is a seasoned enterprise product management expert with more than 20 years of experience driving product roadmap and investment strategy for analytics, cloud computing, and big data technologies. Prior to Interset, Mario led product services and product management teams for Cognos enterprise business intelligence through the company’s acquisition by IBM. He subsequently drove the vision and roadmap to manage investments in the IBM Cognos Analytics platform.

Education: Mario holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Ottawa.

About Michael: Michael has nearly a decade of big data technology experience and is responsible for deploying leading open-source, big data cybersecurity solutions in some of the world’s the largest enterprises. Prior to joining Interset, Michael spearheaded early cyber data lakes for strategic companies looking to evolve their cyber presence from multiple point solutions to a central platform that provides teams the critical patterns and alerts to systematically identify targeted risks. Using big data tech, Michael has helped organizations transform from rules- and configuration-driven point products to integrated big data and machine learning to help security teams focus on the threats that matter.

Education: Michael holds a BSBA in Information Technology from The University of Denver.

About Wayne: Wayne has spent more than two decades applying strong technical knowledge to solving business development through roles in business development, customer engagement and product development for enterprise IT software companies. Prior to Interset, Wayne served as chief technology officer for AppLariat, where he drove strategy and direction for the company’s AI-based application delivery-as-a-service platform. He also previously held leadership roles in customer-oriented R&D and professional services for VMware and Integrien, respectively.

Education: Wayne received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
