About Mark: As the Chief Executive Officer of Interset, Mark comes with 20-plus years of experience in helping venture and private equity-backed startups fulfill their strategic visions. With a unique background in behavioral and IT analytics, he has a proven ability to scale technology companies—with a particular emphasis on strategy, corporate development, and financial oversight. This strongly positions Mark to lead Interset during this rapid growth phase for the company. Mark was an investor, CFO, and COO of Integrien, a pioneer in real-time predictive IT and behavioral analytics, through its acquisition by VMware for more than $100M. Integrien’s visionary technology now forms the base of VMware’s cloud-management platform. Mark was also COO of Central Desktop, the leading SAAS-based collaboration platform for marketers. There, he was a key contributor to the development and execution of the company’s strategy through its acquisition by PGi. Prior to VMware and Central Desktop, Mark helped position and scale many venture/private equity-backed technology companies to successful exits as CFO, COO, and adviser. Mark is also an active angel investor, adviser and board member to early stage technology companies.

Education: Mark received a BS and an MBA in Finance from Loyola University Maryland, and a Masters in RE Structured Finance from NYU.

Stephan Jou

Chief Technology Officer

About Stephan: Designing software (from inception to release) for more than 15 years, Stephan is the veteran mind behind Interset’s technological vision. Stephan has been a technologist and leader at two startups and at one of the largest software development companies in the world. He was previously a technical architect, research staff member, and senior manager at IBM Cognos Analytics. During his career at IBM Cognos, he architected and oversaw more than ten 1.0 products related to cloud-computing, mobile, visualization, semantic search, data-mining, and neural networks.

Education: Stephan holds a Master of Science in Computational Neuroscience and Biomedical Engineering, and a dual BS in Computer Science and Human Physiology from the University of Toronto.

Ross Sonnabend

VP of Product & Field Operations

About Ross: With more than 15 years of experience in technology, Ross oversees daily operations and customer experience. Before his role at Interset, he was a media-and-enterprise executive at Accenture, where he developed corporate strategies and led large-scale implementations of content management, digital-supply chain, and intellectual-property-rights management solutions for companies such as CBS, Sony, Warner Bros, and Fox Interactive Media. Prior to that, Ross was co-founder and VP of Client Engagement at RampRate, a data-driven sourcing advisor, where he was instrumental in the rapid adoption of the company’s proprietary ratings index by major corporations.

Education: Ross received a BS in Business Administration from California Polytechnic University, Pomona.

Mark Coffman

SVP of Global Sales

About Mark: Mark comes with more than two decades of experience launching and building technology startups. Before joining Interset, Mark was VP of Worldwide Sales & Business Development at Apcera (acquired by Ericsson during his tenure), a container-management platform provider. Mark has also been VP of Strategic Accounts at business-management pioneers Apptio and Endeca (the data-management company acquired by Oracle for $1.1B). Previously, Mark spent eight years at TIBCO Software, at which time the company grew from approximately $20 million to more than $400 million, and went public. It was recently acquired by Vista Equity for $4.3 billion. Mark started his career in technology, working in sales at Oracle.

Education: Mark holds a Bachelor’s of Science from Cornell University.

Rob Sader

VP of Business Development

About Rob: Rob joins Interset with 15 years of experience helping small technology and software start-ups grow customer acquisition. Most recently, Rob was a Cyber Security and Dataflow Evangelist at Hortonworks, the market leader in big-data technology. In one year, he helped grow the Hortonworks Emerging Products business from $0 to more than $10M. Rob joined Hortonworks through its acquisition of Onyara, which he co-founded in 2015 and served as Chief Revenue Officer. Leveraging lean start-up principles, Rob helped build and sell Onyara for $42M after six months in business on a $1.1M capital raise. Earlier in his career, Rob worked as a product specialist in the high-growth service cloud business at Salesforce.com, where he drove just over $50M in new business over two years. He also has extensive experience helping drive enterprise-class sales for multiple small software start-ups such as Virtuoz (sold to Nuance) and Jacada.

Education: Rob has a Bachelors of Arts in Biology from Macalester College and studied BioInformatics at Chalmers University in Sweden.

Bill Munroe

VP of Marketing

About Bill: A veteran of the security industry, Bill spent the past 22 years a product management and marketing professional in the software industry. Previously, he was VP of Marketing at Verdasys—vaulting the company to a Gartner MQ leadership position, while driving messaging for their enterprise information-protection solutions. Prior to that, Bill directed both product marketing and product management at OpenPage, a governance, risk and compliance leader. Bill has held additionally marketing and product-management positions at Avidyne, Netegrity, Sybase and EMC. Bill also served for nine years as a U.S. Naval Aviator and Information Security Officer.

Education: Bill holds a BA from the University of Kansas, and an MBA from the F.W. Olin School of Business at Babson College.
